He was INAUTHENTIC. He was trying to be something he was not. Remember the incident with the hunting trip?

He may not have won if he were more honest, but America won't vote for someone who is hiding the truth about who he is.

He also didn't have principles - he appeared to twist with the wind, even on important issues like the war. "I actually voted for the 87 billion before I voted against it." Again, the truth was he was too far left, but the shading and insincerity made it even worse.

He also had no "common touch." His personality turned people off.

He offered no answers because he had none. His elitist attitude that came not from his own accomplishments, but the fact that he married money, twice. Inventing his own past. His 'chicken with it's head chopped off' or 'fish on the river bank' habits----flip! flop! flip! flop!

Well, for one thing, he's got the charisma of a doorknob. Also, he comes across as a bit of a wuss. By the way, I'm a Democrat, and I voted for Kerry in the last election, because I thought that anybody was better than Bush.

He's not very charaismatic. He's a smart man, accomplished, and knows his stuff when it comes to military, but the republicans were too underhanded with all that swift boat crap.

I can't believe people fell for that!
