I guess my parents are kinda like that.
I want to buy a midi keyboard to learn to play and make music but I can't seem to get myself to buy one because they are so expensive.

I've been driving 30 years now and I've never made a car payment in my life. I aspire to never be in debt. You have a good head on your shoulders. Make sure you find a girl with the same goal if your a guy or vice versa. My husband has one of those psychological issues and needs to spend to make himself happy. Drives me nuts but he is much better then previous years. I'm proud of you!!! keep at it!!!

Well, good for you. You're not cheap. You're sensible. You've spent money on college which is a good investment. Try to treat yourselves sometimes though. Life's too short to deprive yourself of hobbies that you will enjoy. I wish I could be a little more like you. I can't seem to hold onto money at all.

cheapness is just clinging to money, and money has no actual value until it is used (to buy something). And we can't take it with us in the end, I'm not saying go crazy and buy everything you heart desires but you NEED to indulge every once in a while.

Just be careful! You don't want to be too tight with money..You still need to have a little fun! On the other hand it is good to have some self control!

are you jewish (dont take that the wrong way!) but i know a lot of jewish families that have a lot of money but never spend it. i dont know how they do it id spend it all really fast
