You can use the TAB button to navigate to the Control Panel and switch the mouse buttons under settings. (Use TAB to move around, arrows for sub menus, then Enter to select).
But it is only $10-$20 to get a decent new mouse.

Try taking the back off your mouse and cleaning the contacts with a q-tip and some alcohol. I would bet the other wheels inside your mouse could use a cleaning as well. Your mouse should work fine after you clean it.

Buy a new mouse! They cost anything from £2 up.
Very little you can do to repair them.

1. Turn mouse over
2. Unlock the "key" & release scroller -- aka "ball"
3. Clean inside rolllers with Q-tip & rubbing alcohol--gently (put alcohol on Q-tip, then rub roller)
4. Clean roller ball - it may have debris on it (dust, hair, ashes, etc)
5. Put roller ball back
6. Put "key" in place, lock
7. Start scrolling, you should be fine.
8. $.10 - for Q-tip
$.10 - for amount of alcohol
$ ----for amount (& time) spent -- Priceless
