Flash drive is already in USB port. I tried to open it from My Computer and got message "Please insert a disk into drive X:". I changed the drive number as well, but won't help.

goto device manager delete composite usb devices and then restart ur laptop thats it

Sometimes simply restarting the computer will fix that problem. Try that first. If your computer still won't open the flash drive, try logging onto the manufacturers website to see if they have an updated driver available for your thumb drive.
