Well, the left wants Huckleberry Finn banned because they say n***** in the book. The religious right, the nutty ones, want Harry Potter banned because they believe in witches and wizards.

Uh. Not sure where you got that. I've heard of some churches maybe banning them from church festivel book drives, but nothing about concervatives.
I'm a concervative independent and I have no problem with somebody else reading it.

That's being to g*ddamn nit-picky and wanting the government to take care of every little thing for you. If you don't like the books and don't want your children reading the books, don't buy them, but don't deny the rest of us who actually have an open mind.

It is not conservatives that want these books banned, it is Christians who argue that it endorses witchcraft and sorcery and they are correct without a doubt.
