Colbert is twice as funny as Stewart.
Stewart hasn't been funny in years. Now days, he just shows clips of Bush and makes fun of whatever he says. It gets boring after a while. Most people just tune in because they don't like Bush.

Aside from the fact that Jon Stewart has been around longer than Bush has been the butt of so many jokes, yes many people find him very funny.
The reason you wouldn't find him funny is because you're not a liberal mind. I feel sorry for you, but the fun-loving, free-thinking portion of the country holds the same values as this comedian that rubbed you the wrong way...
Heh, beside, you have to admit that theres a bit of ironic humor to be had in saving the country from forest fires by cutting down all the trees so they can't burn...Things like that are just dying to be made into sport.

Freedom of Speech.First Amendment. His political monologues gives you food for thought. Most Americans have not Had to think under Bush -- he did all the stupid thinking for us., At least Jon gives us a different perspective.. That is why you sked this question. Hum Jon Stewart's jerk or is he? He makes you think.

Jon Stewart is funny.
You do not laugh at everything you favorite comedian says, do you?
You only laugh at things you can relate to or things you believe in.
Not everyone has to like the same comedian.

He really is funny, and his show has been around a long time. He makes fun of everyone. He makes his view known, but he was very outspoken during the Clinton administration. The difference with the Bush administration is that they go back on what they are saying all the time and Bush puts his foot into his mouth so often that its hard not to laugh. If you really watch the Daily show frequently you'll find out that he makes fun of everyone in government.

He is funny. You just don't like him because you support Bush.
But if you actually did your research before asking a pointless question you would know all these shows make fun of the current regime whether they are liberal or conservative.
Don't you remember Clinton jokes?
It's not hatred. I don't think Stewart hates bush at all, he just doesn't agree with his views.
There's a difference, maybe not to you, but to the civilized world there is.

He is funny and I actually used to enjoy his clever humor until I realized that he almost exclusively used it to criticize and condemn the Bush administration and any conservatives or Republicans that opened their mouths to speak in public.
