Wars and He-Man toys from the early 80's in my parents' attic.

Is there an easy place to check to see if any collectors would be interested in them?

A reputable antiques dealer or auction house would be the best place to start. If you still have the original containers (boxes, etc.) or if they are still in original packaging, they will bring in a LOT more than the used toy in perfect condition without.

As for checking if collectors are interested, you can have the auction house auction them with a reserve (if you want AT LEAST .... if the bids don't bring in the minimum that YOU want, you get to keep them and try another time or method. OR they can auction them off for whatever they get if you don't care.

You can also try e-bay, again you can have a minimum bid.

Wow. You're lucky. You can check eBay (of course) and see what their going rate is. Also check out Toyzine.com and Toynutz.com!
If you have the store Suncoast near you they sell toy collector magazines for a few dollars and they have up to date info on older sets.

there are collective catalogs one can purchase try going first to a good comic/collectable shop and try barnes and noble for price guide to collectables. BUT remember cause Im a pack rat myself just cause you liked it and it is in pristine condition doesnt mean there is a market for it. I have lots of Treasures to me that i thought were worth so much but no one wants them. The pagkaging affects price too. Good Luck.

You can check on ebay. Also if you have a hobby shop near your house they may have a book that tells you if its an antique or collectable.
