Honesty now, guys... do you really think about sex every ten seconds?

As a girl, I just don't understand... I read that somewhere and was completely astonished. Do certain things trigger you to think about it, or do you, well, suddenly just THINK about it?

Having said that, I think that is more like a statistic. More like "guys think of sex 1 second for every 12 seconds". So it would be like 2 hours collectively out of the day guys are thinking about sex, whether that be a couple times through the day, once at night, or... um... every 12 seconds.

Not every ten seconds, but a lot. It's like when you're hungry - you can forget about it for a while but when you become idle again it's right there. And, there are a million triggers to remind you too - women are everywhere, sometimes flirty, sometimes dressed in certain ways, sometimes making eye contact, smiling - it's actually a pain in the neck to be a young man for that reason. I think it's just Nature's way of making sure we dont' run out of people.

I don't. I am a geek and I think about scifi and other things. Sometimes I think about sex but it is so rare that it is some what legendary. Most of the time I think about other things. So basically it is a lie that sex is the only thing on a guy's mind. It is not like we think with our penis or dick or whatever you wanna call it, all the time. It just happens once in a while.

Sometimes we do just think about it without anything in particular triggering it but sometimes just a smell, hot chick or something that reminds us of a women will also do it. As far as thinking about it every 10 secs. that may be a little much, more like an average of 10 times a day.

That is an urban legend. Think about it, how would you measure the thoughts of people to get an idea of what they are thinking about on a regular basis. If you sat there and asked them every 10 seconds what they were thinking about, you would be interferring with how they normally act and would more than likely interfere with what they were thinking about. The study would flaw its own results.

I think that is on average men think about sex every 10 seconds - but no, certainly not in my experience - I can only think about one thing at a time as I'm not a woman, I cannot multi-task. Usually you think about it like I am now because someone says something that makes you think about it.....

No they do no longer. probably a pair of situations an hour however.... relies upon on the guy and what they're doing ( in the event that they're doing a activity for example, they won't likely think of approximately it till somewhat whilst they end) no longer all adult males are perverts

Obviously thats not true... and coming from a woman I am ashamed of this question because women are just as sexual as men in every way. And also ALL men are different. I've had boyfriends who wanted sex more than me and I've had boyfriends who didn't want it enough. I presume men think about sex just as much as women do. So thats my answer to your question.

It usually occurs in those all to oftens moments between beer and sport.
Although i have had a girl who made me keen even during those precious televised sporting events . Naturally i showed her the door. Its just unhealthy to be thinking about sex that often.
