Overall though, I can think of several stereotypical statement that stand out and you must also realize they are more to the point prejudicial.

1.) Perhaps the most prevalent stereotyping can be found today post 9/11 deals with people of arabic backgrounds or islamic belief.

2.) Another would deal with immigration and goes to the stereotyping of "wet backs" crossing over from Mexico.

3.) Internment of Japanese american during world war II. is another example.

4.) The civil rights movement and really dating back to the civil war concerning the freeing of slaves.

5.) Jewish persecution during and before World War II.

6.) American history - dating back to the indian wars, "only good indian is a dead indian."

Sadly, there are many examples throughout history and there will be more into the future.

i think of human beings are clever adequate to no longer make generalizations concerning the historic previous of any u . s . a .. We understand the forged and evil that are in each and every u . s . a .'s historic record. the undeniable fact that a lot of our background comes from England (like our language and easy regulation device), and that we've been allies on account that WW1 probably tilts us in direction of the effect of england as a "sturdy" u . s . a ., whether some Irish human beings could disagree with that fact.
