What Do You Think Of American Idol??

Question

What do you think of the judges? Contestants? So far...who do YOU think will make it? Has anyone been on it, or wanted too? This is the place to express yourself!!

It's the same this year as before. Right now the auditions are more of a joke than anything. or at least what they edit and show on tv. I watch it and laugh but it's the same.

well I think many things, Everyone who has watched American Idol in the past should know by now that Simon is brutal towards aweful singers. But I think that is why most watch the show not only to see some talented singers but also to see the ones who cannot sing worth a bean and Simon attacking them, however, making a comment about one's appearance shouldn't be allowed cause that can be damaging to someone's self esteem. Now I do know that before these people come on stage the contestants have to go through their first judges and I think those judges knowing that some of these people cannot sing put them through to the next round which they shouldn't be, but I think that is all for the show's ratings. But some of these contestants are truly funny in believing that they can sing. I don't know who yet I think will win too early to tell but they do have some talented people on it.

Did you see last nights show? (1-23) The first person they had on, the guy that came there with the marching band and cheerleaders? I was very disappointed in the judges on that one, they all turned him down. I thought he was very good. It's easy to agree on the obviously bad ones, but he was pretty great in my book, I don't understand that decision at all. I do like the show, though. I usually can predict who will be in the top 10 or so fairly early on. The navy guy and the brother and sister I think will go pretty far. I like all 3 judges, I wish Simon wouldn't get so pissy and moody, then he takes it out on the decent contestants, too. Why do they let so many bad, bad singers get far enough to embarrase themselves on national tv? And why has their friends and families lied and told them they're good!? The show is better once they narrow it down and weed out the no talent people. It should be interesting, as usual!

i think it's become a joke pretty much. i mean if you noticed, they spent almost all the time on these past episodes showing almost ONLY bad auditions! they rarely show a good one anymore. and i think the judges are all just tired of the whole thing... simon's actually seeming to get nicer (if that's possible- but i still love him), paula's getting drunker, and randy's just gotten flat-out mean! oh well... but my prediction for one guy in the top 5 is that guy from the memphis auditions last night they called "sundance"... i thought he was great.

It's fcuking retarted. They are humiliateing people and everyone seems to think that Simon Cowell is the coolest guy cause he is so honest. I don't think I have ever seen a bigger as* then him. I think he should get kicked off the show.

that sundance guy has been the only one with talent that i have seen so far... it thought it was funny how after sundance sang simon goes " he just blew hicks out of the water " & then chuckles ... that guy is the biggest j4ck4ss LoL but that is what he is going for i think

Paula and Randy seem to be there same old selves, but Simon seems meaner than usual. I think that Sundance will do well because his voice is phenomenal. I think he will win it.
