Islam is one of the finest relions of the world. this religion erradicated many bad rituls and made people believe that there is only one god- Allah. Islam believes in non-violence adn preeches people to become good human beings. Began around 440AD Islam spread like a rapid fire and is today second largest religion in the world. there are no caste systems practiced in islam. everyone is treated equally without any discrimination. there r 5 pillars of islam which state that a muslim should- pray 5 times a day, should visit Mecca-Madina atleast once in his lifetime ....I don't remember the rest!

Pick up a Qu'ran.
I can tell you they pray four times a day at specific times.
There is a whole month where they don't eat from sunrise to sunset.
They believe Mohammad was the last prophet.
Like the Jews, they don't eat pork or shellfish.
They believe in many of the same things as the Christian faith.

it is not four times, it is five times a day.
the month when we dont eat is Ramadan, we do this to be able to realize the situation of poor and hungary people and be aware of our responsibilities for them.
most of us believe women should wear a scarf to hide their hair and the clothes should not be short or tight so that our body will not be very noticable
these r some of the physical acts that we do but more important ones are about being a nice person.
it is written in Qur'an that a person who violates a person's right (killing him, stealing st, saying bad things when he is not around etc) will go to hell even if he does other physical prayers perfect. the biggest sin is believed to be to violate a human right.
