Bill Walton scoring 44 points on 21 of 22 shooting in the NCAA finals against Memphis State in 1973. This was when the dunk was not allowed in college ball (the Lew Alcindor rule, and Walton had 4 dunks disallowed in that game) and there was no three point line (not that it would have made a difference with Walton).
