Is my sone alleric to formula?

My 8 month had been sick alot lately...but he is asmatic....he has been coughing...no puking no nothing....im just trying to make my mother in-law happy....she thinks because he is sick like this it is bacuse he is allergic to his formula....please help me proove to her thats not what it is!!!

Unlikely. Food allergies aren't usually coughing - unless it's within 40 minutes after eating and is accompanied by swelling in the face or tongue and problems breathing. Most food allergies - unless they're anaphalxis - are rashes.

Tell your mother in law that this is cold and flu season, so he might have a cold, or postnasal drip from the dry heat in the house.
