You can buy them at the store I like Nathan's the best! Oscar meir makes them too! But you can also get the sliced cheese and make it so its skinny by folding it. Then cut a slit down the length of the hot dog...put you skinny slices of cheese in there and put in the oven, stove top or microwave but watch it close b/c it melts quick...then voila there you have a cheese dog!! Can you tell I am a Mommy?? Hahaha my kids love them!

Cut it down the center and butterfly it open, then melt the cheese on top. Then close the two halves together and watch the cheese osshh out.... ummmhhhh
