My car has those traditional tape music system.

connect using wires get an wire with jack exactly similar to your ipod
output jack and just plug it in to the aux in jack of ur music system and
u are done

if you go to Tescos or argos or similar and get a tape adaptor you pop the tape adator in the tape player like you would a normal tape you then plug the head of the lead into the headphone socket on your ipod.

Your other option is an FM transmitter this plugs into your cigerette lighter and then into the socket where you plug the sync lead (the white one that came with the ipod).

If you have a tape player i would reccommend the first as i found that easiest to use in my parents car - mine however has a CD player and so the second option works better.

There are several music systems of Sony X-plod which allows u to connect ur Mp3 or Mp4 player to ur car music system. Or ask a car music system seller, he will tell u more abt this.
