Guys what does your wife do when you hint at sex and she had already told you 5 times during the day that she is in a stinky/tense mood which you completely forgot about while your flag pole was rising?

Well, since you've already made a mistake by asking and probably have worsened her mood, the only thing you can do is try to rectify the situation. You need to temporarily forget about your flagpole and focus on her. Ask her what's wrong and listen to what she says. If there's some advice you can give, then give it. Be as supportive and understanding as possible and give her a hug.
If her tenseness is caused by stress, you could offer to give her a massage (preferably with a nice massage oil). Keep it innocent at first, but as you feel her relax, let your caresses wander to areas that you know will arouse her. Also keep in mind that a massage doesn't have to be solely performed with your hands. You can use your mouth as well.
Once she's relaxed and aroused, you should both be able to have a satisfying end to the day. You'll get what you want and she won't be in a stinky/tense mood any more because sex is the best remedy for that type of mood.

Well MY other half has the sense enough to know the best cure for a stinky tense mood.
I don't buy the 'not in the mood' excuse.
I chose the word EXCUSE for a reason.
Now I am a self professed lech and my girl is along the same as myself so I understand I may not be like everyone.
But if a day a so goes by with no nooky I begin to look at other things like WHY is she is a stinky mood?
Get to the root of that and your sex problems are fixed.
Of course you may have married a wife that thinks her coochie is some sort of golden prize you get granted every once in a while if your good.
But I don't buy that spiel either.
So to answer your question.
My girl takes a hint, let's me put her in the mood, and then screws my brains out after she realizes a relationship is both ways.
Afterwards her mood is better and we drift off to sleep.

I don't know about other women but when I tell my husband that I'm in a "stinky/tense" mood it means you better get that flag pole up and it better dang well NOT be a quickie either because I need some attention to get me in a better mood.
