people always tell me if you cheat you have broken a commitment but that commitment is never made in my mind i haven't actualy said yeah....i'm not gonna cheat on you (i have never cheated just for the record)

it sound like both of you guys were very confused . You should talk to this person and tell them your point of view that you didnt feel there was a commitment. good luck
