If I had to choose...I'd take neither. I find the prospect of being loved by someone I don't love equal to loving someone who doesn't love me in return. And in either case I think I'd rather do without love entirely than to have it only half-way.

I think I would rather receive love. A natural consequence of receiving love is giving love. Being loved makes you a better person-- naturally more kind and aware.

Id rather receive love. Dont get me wrong I love to give love to people but If you are giving love to someone and they don't appreciate it then you feel empty. This way your not!!

One of the joys of life is to love and be loved. But, if I could only have one, I would prefer to be the giver of love instead of the receiver. I enjoy making others happy and giving them something to smile about. This also brings me happiness as well.

well your question makes no sense. if we all chose to give love then everyone will receive love but if everyone just chose to receive love then there would be know one to give that love.plus doesnt this sound like todays world any way some give some take
