As you did not specify the error clearly, it's hard to give the solution, You can send the error to microsoft ( I mean error number or code, or the error sentence itself) !

Check to see if the multi media is set to default,if not set it.Secondly if that is not the problem you may have to browse for updated drivers or version

Could you please explain what exactly the error message is and when it comes.

Try to use another program so it will make it clear that is there any thing wrong with computer or just software problems.
