Yes, but only to those who have been to me, because I've stayed true to too many people only to be stabbed in the back. There are only 2 friends I have who I am true to, because they've been there when I've hit the bottom of the bottom and were there when I went back to the top.

yes i would consider myself to be a very true, honest and loyal and i am a very good listener and hand on heart ive never had the same back for me :-( ive always been stamped on because i am soft and would rather hear friends out than have myself heard

hell no! i`m no "true" friend! not me!
i try to respect people as much as they respect me..simple rule!
i have developed a "ko" safety net..just in case! i don`t believe in "pure true" friendships. most of the cases, people get stucked together for common "fiduciary" interests, loneliness and stuff like that. is it worth it to invest feelings in a person that wouldn`t hesitate to leave you as soon as you don`t have enough money anymore or you are no longer a party freak? i guess not. i agree, in theory, friendship is an interesting concept....unfortunately, practice, life experiences almost always ruin abstract principles.
