Australia has more native marsupials than any other continent. Kangaroos, koalas, wallabies... etc. Also native to Australia is one of the funkiest looking animals alive, the duck-billed platypus.
Dingos, like many other animals, are not indigenous to Australia. Many animals were brought over by explorers, or stowed away on their ships. Dingos are an example of this, as are rabbits.
