you missig a video codec
if playing the media file in windows media player it will tell you the missing codec
search for it in the internet
then u will find plenty

well u cant download a dvd...did u put ur search under 'video'? maybe u downloaded an mp3 or sumthin....or u might not hav the right codecs for the video..try playing it with another player ^_^

You may not have the right video codecs installed. Download this software and install it, all should be fine.

that could be for more than one reason but most of the time, in my experience, it has been because i did not have the video codec i needed to play it on..
go to www.divx.com and get the divx codec and also search for xvid and get that codec and you should be ok with most files.

Hi Linsey, You were harsh towards me with your answer to my sort of question. I'm just missin my kids. But don't deserve to live this life being a lap dog for someone who does not care. if you ever have problems playing stuff you have downloaded because of codecs download
vlc player its free and it plays near enough everything you can think of
