New York and Los Angeles are the major targets because that is where all the Liberal crap spews from that makes these people hate us so much.

I live in NY and no absolutely not!! We would be devastated, but as a fellow American with, at least the intelligent to work a computer you have to see that what happens here WILL affect you, directly and indirectly!! We should absolutely continue the fight!!!!

If only it were that simple! Our troops in Iraq & Afghganistan have nothing to do with our safety. No one from either of those countries had anything to do with 9/11. Niether of those countries has WMDs; yet.
What we have done in Iraq is destroy the country, cause many civilian deaths & start a civil war. We don't know how to leave without causing further damage. A real quandry for the U.S.
We have managed to do some good in Afghanistan. Most of the people don't want the Taliban running things so they have accepted our being in their country. They know that we are not intending to stay, if we can help it! Not like Russia; they wanted to take over & run the country. So, if you have an exit strategy for Iraq, lets hear it. Of course, we could always cut & run as you suggest but that would not make us safe; only up to our usual tactics of," well, we have done our worst so lets cut-out"!
We need to start following the Constitution & stop letting Presidents start wars that only Congress has the right to declare.

For the tenth time Spanky, nobody has said anything about pulling the troops. The argument is about whether or not we want to send more troops into a civil war and waht the troops should be doing. Timothy Mcveigh certainly thought you were a target. How soon we forget.

I think Oklahoma was a target of a right wing terrorist attack.
If we pulled out of Iraq, I doubt if the Shiites or the Sunnis would have the ability or the desire to attack us here.

I have thought that President Bush and V.P. Cheney should both resign and that would put Nancy Pelosi in charge. She would be President and SHE could solve some problems. Then the country could see how well the Democrats can govern.
Of course, there are a lot of Republicans that would get really miffed about that, but I think it would be a more effective thing than to slowly lose the fight with the lying obstructionist anti-Americans!

Oklahoma is a state that supports the war and will see little / no
terrorism...
NY&CA do not support the war and will see lots of terrorism..
No doubt NY & CA will change their minds after the bombs start
going off...
I am surprised that NY has forgotten about 9/11....
