As long as you don't surround yourself with mouths to feed, take advantage of your liberty and easy get-up-and-go status. As long as you're by yourself, you don't have to worry about the comforts and priorities of a family and kids. The military is also one of the best jobs you can have if you don't know what you wanna do. Just think about a job you KNOW you DON'T wanna do before you sign.
That's what I used to do. I used to love moving from one state to another. There's always jobs, but good paying jobs are rare. I had to make a trade off eventually.

I got a master's degree in what I thought was the field for me when I was in my early twenties. Been working in it for years and really hate it! I recently quit my *last* job in that field. I had been doing volunteer work in the area I really love for the past several years. I got a part time, paying job in that area just recently and am actively looking for full time work. I found volunteering to be a great way to make connections and realize that there are a lot of opportunities to pursue. It's a good way to get your foot in the door.
