As for number 1) you might look under the development of the horse. For number 2) which also includes 3 and 40 you can call up horse herd structures and hierarchy and as far as number 5 goes, you can try looking under horse body language.
I could answer all of these questions, but I gather you are suppose to be doing a report.

I can answer some of your questions horses use the fight and flight mechanism because they are scarred and want to protect themselves.
and horses forage in herds b/c that way they help each other and warn each other of danger.
or u could simply go to goggle and type in horses and find a whole page on horse webs sites and find your answers there

I would think the best place to find your answers would be the BHS British Horse Society they are based in Stoneleigh Warwichshire

I recommend looking up publications released by UC Davis-- a big ag college in California which has many cutting-edge equine studies and courses ranging from veterinary, behavioral and genetic studies among many more. Check out their site below.
