As for number 1) you might look under the development of the horse. For number 2) which also includes 3 and 40 you can call up horse herd structures and hierarchy and as far as number 5 goes, you can try looking under horse body language.

I could answer all of these questions, but I gather you are suppose to be doing a report.

I can answer some of your questions horses use the fight and flight mechanism because they are scarred and want to protect themselves.
and horses forage in herds b/c that way they help each other and warn each other of danger.
or u could simply go to goggle and type in horses and find a whole page on horse webs sites and find your answers there

The UC Davis web site is one one of the best for these questions.
Also the New Bolton Center has a study herd and they may also have much info if they have a web site.

I would think the best place to find your answers would be the BHS British Horse Society they are based in Stoneleigh Warwichshire

Good questions I look forward to reading your answers but failing that do try the BHS

Good Luck

I recommend looking up publications released by UC Davis-- a big ag college in California which has many cutting-edge equine studies and courses ranging from veterinary, behavioral and genetic studies among many more. Check out their site below.
