no its not coming out. i just checked a reliable website. gamespot gave it a 3.7 on ps2 and xbox. bad game!

Yeah, you have to do the counterattack... right before he swings at you press "A" and you'll duck, then punch him three times in a row and if that doesn't knock him down you'll pull the knife away from him
