First of all, you cannot "delete" an application. You would need to uninstall it instead. When you install Internet Explorer 7, or even better Internet Exlorer 8, it will upgrade the existing version of Internet Explorer, which means that you will never have two versions of Internet Explorer installed at once, as the latest version will replace any previous version.

I know that it sux...lol I have it too. It is sooo wicked slow. I asked this question too and I was told to turn off the phishing filter go to tools and its right there. I was also told that if i had 6 before that you can just uninstall int 7 and 6 will come back. I didi this and when I did for some reason int exp 6 was wicked slow so I guess we can't win. :( but I will wish you luck. If you figure out something let me know please...i can't stand the slowness!!!

I had problems using add-ons with IE7.
Go to your Control Panel and click Add/Remove programs. Check the box that says "Show Updates". Scroll down to your "Windows IE7" and click change/remove. It will go through this whole thing about removing it. Yes, you want to do it. As soon as it's done you will be back to IE6, or your other previous version.
Also, try FireFox browser from Mozilla. I like it more than IE and I'm super picky.
Best!

Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs
Look for IE7, remove it, reboot the computer. Tahdah! Back to IE6.
Edit: Apparently Mom doesn't know everything, because you absolutely CAN go back.
