It seems like it has disappeared almost doesnt it? It seems there was a lot of talk about the big depression we were going to have for 2007, do you think it is still coming?

It's only January 24th. We still have more than 11/12ths of 2007 to go. The housing market is still going downhill, white-collar jobs are still moving to India and manufacturing jobs are moving to China. The biggest unknown is what China is going to do with the trillion (that's a thousand billions, or a million millions) dollars in their national reserves.

Lots of people cry about the end of the world, sky is falling,
Armageddon etc. etc...
There were all sorts of dire predictions about the turn of
the millennium in 2000...
All these predictions disappear after the event when proved false..
Usually with some kind of excuse for delay by the predictor...
