I love my wife very much, and have a great relationship, but I just don't understand why she is so shy towards me. I believe that it may be in a loving manner.

She is very shy during our intimate moments, but it doesn't stop there she is scared to express to me her beliefs. I'm insanely passionate about her. If I give her a nibble on the neck and place my hands aound her she either locks up, or caves inward.

You don't mention how she is "shy" toward you. It sounds, however, like you mean shy about being intimate or naked in front of you. Many women are shy in front of husbands they love. It can be that she is not confident about how she looks or acts in an intimate situation. It is also true that many women have been raised to believe, even subconsciously, that sexual intimacy is dirty or wrong, even with someone they love. Let her know you think she's beautiful and sexy, especially in intimate situations.

I would be shy if I wouldnt want to do something to hurt the other person. Its like a defense machanism ...I really think she knows and like your loving nature. Aprreciates how much you like her and is scared of loosing it. Believe me.

instead of criticizing her because she is shy, tell her everyday how beautiful she is. Even if you let her believe she is more outgoing that helps.

Maybe she is afraid to come out of her shell. You have to help her out. Once she is more comfortable she won't be so shy.
