I'm afraid so.
We should win the next Presidential election without any trouble. There are going to be lots of "ANYBODY but another Republican" votes being cast, I think.
But Hillary is just so damn divisive and polarizing, that I honestly think that...if she gets the Democratic nomination...the Republicans actually have a shot to win.
For one thing, you're right. Hillary comes across as real cold and calculating. Look at the recent announcement she released stating that she WOULD run. Despite the horrible cold front that the northeast has been going through, the leaves on the trees in the window are very lush and green. Well, when that was pointed out...her campaign admitted that it was filmed back in the early Fall...even BEFORE she had formed her "exploratory committee." Why the deception? It wasn't necessary...everybody has known that she was running for President since she became a Senator...why complicate things for yourself when you don't HAVE to?
Also, she was very staunch left-wing liberal for her entire life...UNTIL she was elected to the Senate and knew that she needed to move back to the center in order to have any chance at all to be elected. And aren't most of us in this country tired of politicians (in BOTH parties) who will "adjust" their beliefs and votes just in order to improve their "electability"? That means that POWER is more important to them than things that they have supported all their lives.
I'd love to see us elect a female President. Lord knows, she can't be any worse than many of the men who have held that position...both throughout our history, and in recent years. (Just look at the last two...)
But I think that Hillary Clinton is just too polarizing and divisive to appeal to many of the independent, middle-of-the-road voters. If we nominate her, the Republicans have a chance. If anyone else gets the Democratic nomination, I think it's a slam dunk.

confident. i've got under pressure the value of respecting the President no matter who they are. yet I even tend to be lots much less "my way or the line" than some. i don't understand "bashing" applicants lots. a minimum of no longer interior the lude and crude experience yet i don't understand doing that to every person. It sort of debases your self whilst talking and in reality leaves you looking under smart. I even have reported issues that i'm involved by yet tend to stay faraway from bashing, I even call her Clinton or Senator Clinton because of the fact her identify isn't "Hillary". it is purely how i became raised although... in reality. At this component I see this needed comprehend turning out to be a real danger.

She looks to bitter and yes rehearsed as well. I guess if I were married to a cheating husband like she has I'd be bitter as well. Joe Lieberman is my Democrat, but I'm Republican mostly. Condi for Prez!

I like the Clintons as a unit and Bill Clinton singular, but I can't decide if I like Hilary singular or not. I do know that I like Barack. He seems so genuine and full of hope, my only fear is inexperience...either way, I think this election is going to be one for the history books.

I agree. While I'm not a Democrat, I think Obama is a less scary prospect. Or Bill Richardson.

I haven't seen her talk. But I would vote for her, based on her past, and mostly on Bill's presidency. I think she's done a good job for New York.
