Friday the 13th is not a day people celebrate, rather the dread seeing it come. The history of this being a day of bad luck comes from the Knights of the Templer. The Knights had gained much power and wealth and the Pope felt threatened by them. He gave orders to have them killed and this oreded was carried out in the early morning hours of "Friday the 13th".

purely like rather some distinct day. Friday the 13th originated from someone who idea the type 13 and Friday were unlucky and so both at the same time have grave outcomes. Frankly on condition that no longer something has ever been shown me how one particular day is worse than the distinct i ought to no longer be afflicted. in my opinion i'm more suitable stressful about Friday thirtieth of February.

I wouldn't say I celebrate it, but it's an excuse for a Halloween party when Halloween is 6 months away!

Friday the 13th is also an excuse to re-watch all the Freddy movies haha.

I don't, but it's a superstitious thing. People stay home, they don't do certain things, because of the bad lucky. Apparantly it's an unlucky day but I don't think it is. I just live like normal, my mom was born on Friday the 13th and she's just fine.

They don't really -celebrate- it as much as they -acknowledge- it.
It's not a holiday, per say. It's more of a superstition that you may or may not choose to believe.

Hope that answers your question.
