Cool color tones - blues, violet, some greens and their variations. But I think pinks are the best. Avoid yellow (some dark yellows are ok), like the plague, or you'll look like you have it.

i have a light olive complexion and i always get compliments when i wear this colour..kind of shocking pink..

and in magazines etc it says that turqoise really brings out a tan..what is similar to my skin colour:
