i think that you will get a huge majority with country of birth first. then british although many don't want the british bit. for me english first then british and proud to be both

English, I don't object to being British (or European) for that matter, its just that form filling used to require 'English' as the answer.

It's like asking a German, are you Europeon or German, he will say German of course.
Britain covers N. Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England, everyone born in England, is English.
