Why is Americans so worried about Race when Religion has killed more people that no race war could ever begin

We sit here and cry back and forth about racism, and people are going hungry on both sides.

It seems to me, most Americans forget that this country became strong because of its diversity, and now many want to argue and judge over differences rather than doing the WORK necessary to better the lives of everyone.
