I am 30 my sweetheart is 48 .We both have been hurt bad in our past and we are able to talk to each other about it. We keep all things out on the table if we hurt each others feelings or the other does something to upset we nip it in the bud right then and there. I think it is all about how you are going to handle the relationship "the seeds of love grow in trust"

I am 27 and my fella is 47! we have been together two wonderful years so far, it is so nice to have a man that has grown up!! It is all about personalities and not age though, if you have lots in common and both want the same things out of life then you can work very well together. Although I'm not going to pretend that I don't get a little scared about the future when I'm in my 30's-40's and he is in 50's-60's but i try not too think that far ahead!! Age does not matter as long as you are very happy.x

age gap relationships aren't necessarily doomed, but it does depend a lot on the ages and also, like other relationships, how well suited you are. i mean if you were 20 and he was 35 then i'd say it probably wouldn't work as you wouldn't have much in common etc but you are both older and have experienced more so i think you have as good a chance as any. as long as you are over about 25ish and the gap isn't too extreme then i don't really think age matters that much.........it's more important to have things in common than to be the same age.

My boyfriends ten years older than me (Im 29) and we've been together 5 years. My friend from school married a man 20 years older than her. It depends entirely on your personalities not age!

He is 31% older than you. If you stay together until he is 90 years old, he'll only be 17% older. If by chance you are still together when he hits 150 years old, he'll only be 10 % older than you. Give it a whirl. You may catch up to him eventually.

Yes,Yes and Yes again.I know several couples who have a big age gap one couple have 18 years between them.Just because you were born in a different decade doesn't mean you're not soul-mates.

absolutely in that situation both partners will have differences but that isaGood thing its not good to live in each others pockets all the time but as long as you both truly love and respect each other age should not be a factor
