hey friends.....i want to make a powerpoint presentation in which i want to add some animations and videos and set some pictures as background image................how can i perform these tasks.........also how can i change the background design template from the first slide....for e.g. my first slide has template 'capsules' and want to put 'notebook' as the template of my second slide........how can i do that........all help will be appreciated!!

You are asking for a lot.
The only advice i can give you here is not to switch from pc to mac when you make your presentation. the code gets completely thrown off and it doesn't work the same.
Videos and pictures, drag drop and resize.
Background just put another background over the old one in the new slide.
The videos have to be able to work with any computer you play it on, I suggest .wmv format.

sure amazes me as how many people do not know how to use a programs "help" function... These files really assist with a specific program... Open Power Point and press [F1] or click on the help menu item, click "index" and search through the options.

for the videos just cut and paste as videos.
And to animate you right click and there will be an animation option...and the backgroun, well, you have to set it as "design for selected slides"
