House:
Yard -- private place for gardening and children and pets to play
Maintenance -- need to maintain exterior including yard as well as interior
Privacy -- you don't have to hear your neighbors flushing their toilet or watching tv

Condo:
No private outside property
Usually have a pool & weight room
No exterior maintenance
Little privacy -- you hear the neighbors and they hear you
Security -- some have a secure outer door as well as your private door
Basically a glorified apartment

House, you are responsible for repairs, maintenance, upkeep on entire house. Condo, Home Owners Association fees (can be steep), they are responsible for repair, maintenance, upkeep of exterior, and perhaps garage area. Some have rules saying you cannot repair your car, wash your car, have vehicles parked in certain areas. No loud music after 10 pm, things like that. Financially you still can earn equity on either, financing is pretty much the same.

house is when you live in a land that no one lives in the same land only you, and you will have garden, but condo is like a flat or apartment you live in a building with other people... you may have a garden in the balcony or roof top but not a yard like the house...
