I am a garage door contractor, and am trying to market garage door openers and storm doors to people who just bought newly built homes.

Go to the permits office and find who the developers are of new subdivisions in your area. Try and work a deal with them to install the garage door openers. But if that fails, you can still go to the county deeds office and get addresses that way.

When I pulled permits, I got lots of mail from folks like you. I believe the permits are public information. The person pulling the permit would be the contractor, and the address for the permit would be the new/remodeled home. Homeowner pulling permits might be a good market.

Your local realtors should have a list of builders in the area as well as check the real estate section of the Sunday paper. They usually list the builders as well.
