mosquitoes are attracted to the feet but will bite anywhere uncovered.

Ticks, horseflies, Botflies, screwflies will bite anything exposed.

mostly arms - but only because they are often uncovered - if shirtless the back is most often bitten ( has too do with temperature and perspiration since most insects are attracted by heat and scent )

they will go for the hottest sweatiest part exposed in general ( and lack of motion makes it more likely that they will stay when they land long enough to bite - so the back is it )
