for me and my bf`s one year, i want to get him a promis ring. just a normal white gold or just silver thin band. where can i get one for super cheap but wont break or turn colors?

It depends on the gold content. The less expensive ones will be 10k and not everyone can wear them. Some people have to have 14k or their finger will turn black. If your boyfriend can wear 10k then limit your search to those only. I wonder if you are getting prices on rings that are 14k or more? Also, remember, the higher the gold content the softer the ring will be. If your boyfriend does heavy work with his hands, then a 10k ring would probably be a better choice.

Look at titanium, there used to be a website that sold titanium jewelry. They had nice bands for men for as little as $49. I can't find it now, but I'm sure there's something still around.
