Nifong should be held accountable and prosecuted. Not just disbarred, but prosecuted. He and this case are the epitome of our legal system run-a-muck. For too long lawyers, the legal professional in general and in this case a prosecutor have held themselves above the law. Their first responsibility is to "know" the law and for him to be able to do what he has done to so many people in this instance deserves more than a slap on the wrist.

His first responsibility to himself, everyone else involved and the law in general was to make certain he had a bonafide case. He did not. In fact, he had a fabrication. But, he decided to go ahead with it anyway. He and the lieing accuser both deserve to be tried for what they are. Liars; preditors; extortionists; attempted extortion; fraud; purjury; the list goes on and on.

And some wonder why our legal system has some of the problems that it does. If Scooter Libby can be tried as he is now, Nifong and this alleged 'victim' need to be tried as well.

No, I do not. I am an attorney, and I believe that his behavior in this case was disgraceful.

No, I don't believe him. He's the worst excuse for a D.A. I've ever seen.
