I used to be a karioke DJ and here are some of the best songs I have heard. Mind you: not because the person could sing, but because the crowd enjoyed it.

Addicted by Simple Plan
Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamone
Cause your an @sshole tonight by David Allen Coe
Let's get drunk and scr*w by Jimmy Buffet
Friends in low places by Garth Brooks
867-5309/Jenny I got your number by Tommy Tutone
I like big butts by Sir Mixalot
Because I got high by Afroman
Let the bodies hit the floor by Drowning Pool
You oughtta know by Alanis Morissette
Just a gigolo by David Lee Roth
The real slim shady by Eminem
Fight for your right to party by the Beastie Boys
Day O by Harry Belefonte
I love Rock and Roll by Joan Jett and the blackhearts
Do Wha Diddy by Manfred Mann

I could probably think of more...but I have to get back to work.

Have fun!!!

The ***** is Back by Elton John

I was justified when I was five
Raising cane, I spit in your eye
Times are changing, now the poor get fat
But the fevers gonna catch you when the ***** gets back

Eat meat on friday thats alright
Even like steak on a saturday night
I can ***** the best at your social dos
I get high in the evening sniffing pots of glue

Im a *****, Im a *****
Oh the ***** is back
Stone cold sober as a matter of fact
I can *****, I can *****
`cause Im better than you
Its the way that I move
The things that I do

I entertain by picking brains
Sell my soul by dropping names
I dont like those, my god, whats that
Oh its full of nasty habits when the ***** gets back

depends on the city and the mood of the crowd. when i go i like to get the feel of it before i pick out songs but usually a good song that everyone knows and can sing along to/rock out with is a good choice. but where i'm from (GA) and where i live (carrollton) we like classic rock and some outlaw country intermingled with some contemporary stuff and classic musical numbers. hmm, that reminds me, what am i gonna sing tonight?

Try Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison. It's upbeat and easy to sing in that you do not have to have a great voice to pull it off.
