I agree with you 100%. Hurricane Katrina was one of the most devastating disasters in our country's history. Everytime I have a discussion with someone about how Katrina was handled, I get so infuriated. We need to take care of our own before giving billions of dollars to the rest of the world. The whole concept of how our nation's money is spent sickens me. Thank goodness for Habitat for Humanity. They are the only organization helping the hurricane victims.

I gained't say get over it yet Florida has seen more suitable hurricanes and larger organic mess united statesinside the purely appropriate 5 years and we weren't said interior the State of Union manage. What i actually wish is that the resident's that are left in New Orleans and something else of the State would commence pointing fingers in the route of the officials they re-elected and ask why are not they getting issues executed? really person-friendly to get on the Bush doesn't care bandwagon yet i actually imagine you should commence performing some housecleaning on the close by element first.

New Orleans was somewhat off-topic from what he was talking about, but I thought it could have been nice towards the end to mention it. Bush has done a lot of work with companies in New Orleans to rebuild it and has been there multiple times to help out.

Bush isn't going to mention New Orleans because he failed during Katrina. We need leaders that will invest in American cities instead of letting Haliburton get rich rebuilding Iraq.

The majority of the profits made by top members of Haliburton (such as Dick Cheney) donate their money to charity. The news just likes to forget that part.

It's not the leadership I want. Bush has got to go. Only half the people are back to N.O. and now their telling the people to get out of the fema trailers and the insurance companys have ripped off the people that lost their homes. I live in Mississippi and I can't believe my eyes and ears. The insurance company's are being dragged into court by our attorny general to make them pay, and the federal gov., nothing. We're not looking for a hand out but what's being done here is an insult to the human race when looking at the b-u-ll-sh-it going on in Iraq.

There are "still homeless" people as a result of the hurricane?
Are you telling me after 2 years, they just kicked those people out of their hotel rooms into the streets with no warning?
Here is an idea. Tell them they had 2 years of no rent to get their crap together, and maybe they shouldn't have spent the multiple 5k dollar debit cards that they waited in line for without an I.D. at the strip clubs.

I agree,I think he dodged the issue. But it's not his fault about the F.E.M.A incident, that was the politicians in New Orleans that did that to themselves, however we need to focus on rebuilding in New Orleans instead of an entirely different country. But it is America's fault that Baghdad was blown to smithereens.

I am so sick and tired of hearing about New Orleans. Don't you people know there were thousands of other people that suffered...and outside of LA.?? And probably the majority are whites. When do they get what they need???? I wish alll the riff raff that Texas took in would go back...and sooner the better. Nagin should be forced to take care of his own people....the racist pig!!

When has Bush ever had his priorities straight? He works for us, but he has chosen to ignore that little fact.

Why? The Mayor of New Orleans made it abundantly clear when he said it was a "Chocolate City".
O.K., fine then. Let the chocolates rebuilt it!
