I have a Stamp-ever Ink stamp that needs more ink. I can't figure out how to open it and don't want to break it.

Not sure, but found this at reddystamp.com ... not sure how clear it is though:

13. How do we re-ink the pre-inked stamps?

Each brand has its own method of re-inking.
Xstampers are refilled by pouring Xstamper re-inking fluid from the top through a special place provided for the purpose.
Stamp-Ever stamps are refilled by placing Stamp-Ever re-inking fluid directly on the top of the pad till it is saturated.
(All self-inking stamps use re-inking cartridges.
Do not use non-brand inks or mix brand names that will damage the stamps.)

I have two "Stamp-Ever" stamps, they are stupid.
Anyway you have to apply ink directly to pad , a few drops over total pad, stand upside down over night to let ink soak into pad, next day wipe off any excess around base and set + or - to your need. That + - is to raise or lower stamp, not to add or lessen ink flow. There is no resivoire

you should be able to just take the lid off and drop in the ink that comes in a little squeeze bottle.
