It will never happen because women want the ring, the proposal, the blah blah blah blah!!!
They have been geared up since childhood about their wedding, engagement, this, that and the other.
You notice, there are "Brides" magazines, Bridal Fairs, Bridal Extravaganzas, and every other sort of imaginable event.
Let me put it to you this way, when it comes to weddings. My exfather in law came to use about 10 months before we were married. The planning was well underway, and made the invasion in Iraq look like checkers. He figured the wedding was going to run about $30K. He offered us the money to elope, or have the wedding. My ex didn't even think about it, and wanted the wedding. I told her we needed to talk about it, as that is a big decision. In the end, I caved, cause I was tired of listening to how insensative I was for wanting to take the money.
Who knows why? I can tell you this, I proposed for my one time in life. I will not be crossing that bridge ever again.

While I think there is nothing wrong with a woman proposing marriage, it befuddles me why you havent already asked her? Maybe the real question is whether or not you are both ready for that step? Formalities are often preferred to be old fashioned, and it may be what your GF wants from you. BUT, if she is considering marriage to you - this is something that you both should be able to fully discuss, not hint around.

That would depend upon how the proposal were worded... "Marry Me?" probably not something a woman might wish to say... but something like:
"I don't see my life without you in it... and we have known each other long enough to be at a crossroads, at least for me. I am uncomfortable just keeping this arrangement as it is. Marriage is important to me, and I am coming to the point that my wish to be married, and married to you is really what I wish. But my wish to be married is becoming stronger than my wish to retain this relationship as it is now. So if marriage is not where this is headed, then I need to know that so that each of us can get on with our lives, each without the other, you to do what you wish, and I to find a husband. I will not call you... And if I do not hear from you by________, I will assume you prefer to remain by yourself, and I am free to continue my search for a husband......"

It's the man's duty to propose to the woman. Are men going to stat wearing engagement rings now too? Don't be silly...suck it up and propose already.

Oh sweetie that's large which you have found somebody like that! you recognize i think of that a girl asking a guy is so unique and truthfully is cool. greater skill to ya. i could defiantly do it if I have been you. You the two love one yet another that's obtrusive to me from what you have defined so a techniques, that's large you the two love young toddlers! i could truthfully think of roughly asking him i think of he could be very touched! From the sounds of it he's uncertain that he has the incentive or guts to realize this. He might desire to easily be petrified of rejection, like I mentioned theory asking him if he won't gain this could be very cool! I only think of that if he hasn't asked you via now that he's somewhat scared to ask and you asking could take that tension and tension remote from him. this type you the two could make lives as a pair and make an entire kin. one component you will be able to desire to do is opposite the rolls all mutually to make issues exciting with this. you will be able to desire to do what he could do while you're classic, you will be able to desire to ask his mom or his father your decision. Then after that get him the hoop and ask him. you will be able to desire to truly have exciting with this! completely decide for it! solid success to you! i wish all is going properly
