T-Shirts aren't going to be what will get you on it. A magnetic personality WILL.
I had the opportunity to see the show back in 1982 with my mom and stepdad. I recall everyone who wanted to "get called" got in a line with 4 people in each row, and a producer would briefly interview EVERYONE. My mom DID get called to "come on down"...no t-shirt or anything unique...the producer just liked her!
(Unfortunately, she was 2nd to last person called down and didn't bid close enough to get onstage with Bob.)

anything with animal rights theme, my husband and i went in the late 80's and i made him wear his navy whites, we didn't get picked but, i did notice they really do pick people who are very excited and outgoing, but not totally "crazy" during a commercial break diane picked my nane from a basket that they put everyones name in and i won a gold watch, it was pretty cool and a fun experience,have a great time and good luck to you!!

If you want to catch Bob's attention your shirts should be catered towards pet adoption and the spay/neuter program. His (no pun intented) pet projects.
Or you can address the fact that he is retireing.
