Astrology has been around for centuries. My mother started me out with my astrology book when I was just 13. I'm 50 now, and have studied many astrology books as well as people. By nature, I'm a sharply inuitive person. So when I became an adult, I began to notice other peoples' behavior and habits, and sometimes could correctly guess their sun sign.
I know that some people don't believe in it, which has been an advantage for me because I can predict certain outcomes from their behavior.
By the way...please dont confuse psychics with astrologers. Psychics and astrologers are two different people. These "store-front-psychics" that became popular in the 90's, who have to ask your birth date, are not true psychics.
A true psychic doesnt need your birth date to see your future and relfections in their mind about you. They can touch you,or a piece of your clothing, working entirely by vibes. You've heard of psychics helping the police dept to solve cases? Those are generally true psyhics. These "store-front-psychics" give us astologers a bad reputation.
An astrologer generally is not psychic. By looking at looking at your birth chart, planetary influences, they can piece together what your personality and character is like, and make predictions about how you'll make your way in life and deal with people and relationships. And that is an astrologer.
'In my opinion' the daily astrological predictions in the newspaper, are for fun only. Astrologers may look at the planets that day and be able to predict what your feelings will be like that day, based on planetary influences. But that's about all I personally believe about the daily predictions in the paper. Aside from mood & feelings, the advice inthe paper is too generalized and can fit anybody's life.

I think that it's cool for guys to believe in astrology because I do. It's just another topic to talk about. If a guy believes in astrology that does not make him p*ssy at all. That has nothin to do with it.

No, no person can predict your future. I am not into astrology, but I do believe that your sign can give you a clue to your personality. Understand, that our emotions very much are touched by the moon. But as to who is the perfect person for me, no a sign is not where you will find that answer, commitment and how much each person is willing to give, be a support for each other and how we learn to grow together are places we might find these answers.

I think astrology is very accurate when it comes to personality and compatibility. That's from my own experiences. I think only you know who your ideal lover is though, astrology is just a helpful tool. As far as predictions and horoscopes go, I put no faith in them. They're far too vague and inaccurate. I think perhaps someday they'll be a little more accurate. Not much though, time and events are too unpredictable to pin down.

Only in very general terms. I knew a friend who was born early, and she told me that it explained why she acted more like her due-date sign than her birth sign.
About twelve years later, I was able to tell a co-worker that she was born about a month early (three weeks, she said).
I said, of course, you're a Scorpio, not a Libra. You got too much sass to be a Libra. She was shocked; how else could I know she was a premie?
You been readin' wrong the horoscope your whole life, I told her.
But daily? Oh, once in a while it seems like it was right.
Only after the day is over do I read these things, jsut so I don't go influence my own day.
But for one-twelfth of the whole world to have the same DAY, even in theme?

I think that all the astrology signs and predictions are for people's entertainment and shouldn't be taken seriously.
