In Thirteen, the friend who calls her bum 'beefburgers' and announces to Tracey in the bathroom that she's going to be the mermaid. And in Can't Be Heaven, the one who Danny ends up going to the dance with, the one who is full of hersel? Are they the same person? Can't Be Heaven was released in 1998, Thirteen was in 2003. I watched Can't Be Heaven today and swear I recognise her as a younger Thirteen actress.
Please help as I can't find anything on the net!

Evie's friend in Thirteen was Astrid and was played by Jenicka Carey. The girl Danny goes to the dance with, Julie, was played by Michelle Trachtenberg.
Astrid: [putting stickers on her face in the mirror] I can't. I'm late for my Biology actually, we're doing a play and I'm the mermaid.
I see...so he didn't go with Julie...well Jenicka Carey isn't in Can't Be Heaven. It might have been Kaley Cuoco she kinda looks like Jenicka Carey.

I've never seen either one of those movies but when I look it up the girl NIkki Reed plays Evie but when you look at her filmography it doesn't show her in any movie called Can't be Heaven. If the girl you are talking about in the Can't be Heaven movie is the girl Julie- it shows that Michelle Trachtenberg played that part. If she was a silent role like a cameo then they might not add her as a part of the movie. Here are the links that I used to find this out. I hope that helps some.
