Sure there is nothing wrong with that.As long as your not doing things you shouldn't be doing.

Age differences always depend on the values, decisions, and prefrences of the girl, boy, and their families.
I know that when I was 14 I was very, very close to going out with a 17 year old. We hung out and everything, but never made it a romantic relationship. We were going to, but we had to think of college and everything. My parents were quite against it at first, but after they met the guy it made everything a little easier. We're still friends, it's great to have someone older to give you advice :)
If you do this though, I suggest that the 17 year old meet the girls parents, have everyone feel comfortable and okay with it before you jump in to something to soon, and really think about what you are doing. Sure it may only be one date, but if you want it to be a long term relationship you may want to think of trying again after the first few semesters of college, since there will be all sorts of new opportunities and temptations...for both of you.
Good luck to both of you!

As long as their parents approve and both are allowed to date; yes. They are both under 18 so it is still legal. Once he turns 18 there may be some issues but not many since she will also be turning 16 and in most states, that is the legal age of concent.
Although as a mother; I don't know how keen I would be for my 15 year old daughter to be dating.

It feels like a big difference now, but it really isn't. I am 20, and my boyfriend is 25 (almost a 5.5 year gap). However, at this point in your lives, what both of you want out of a relationship may be different. Be sure you're on the same level and have fun. Be safe. You're only a teenager for 7 years of your life. Have fun.

Sure you're both minors..just be careful next year when he turns 18...My sister is 17 dating an 18 year old, but when they first got together he was 17. Once he turns 18...it all becomes different...

We've all been at that age. We know what the 17-year-old really wants. So if you're ok with that, go ahead. Just make sure it's legal where you live.

It's only a two-year gap biologically. That isn't a big deal at all. A lot of girls are more mature for their age, and a lot of guys are...um...less mature. That balances out as long as neither one of them is skewed too far one way or the other. There's no reason it wouldn't be able to work out.

Seems like a bad idea, why wouldn't the guy find someone his own age? Think about it, guys in high school are looking to have sex with girls and that's about it. Guys at that age are not looking for a "real " relationship. As much as they say they are, they really are not. If he is, he is a rare find. I'd say, not with my daughter ya don't.
If you are looking for the truth this is it. If you are looking for someone to tell you what you want to hear, looks like there are many naive young ladies willing to do so. I am a guy I KNOW how we think.
