I am a proud 5th generation Californian Democrat, and you are right.
I think that Hilary would make a much better president than that warmonger in there now.

I am NEITHER a Democrat or a Republican.
The only difference between Democrats and Republicans is that Republicans are up front about screwing you over while Democrats like to pretend they're going to help you out when in reality they're just going to screw you over as well.
I vote based on issues that are important for me. Please do not just vote for Hillary based on her gender, educate yourself on her and the other candidates running and make a valid decision based on who you agree with more rather than just voting for some based on something superficial. If you look at Hillary's voting record, you will see that not only is she a lying hypocrit, but an opportunist as well. She's never even lived in New York and is a senator there.

I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican (registered independent) but I am a liberal/progressive.
That being said, I'm lukewarm on the idea of either Hillary or Obama as President. Both of them have some economic ideals that don't match mine, especially with respect to the insane notions of "free trade" (as opposed to fair trade, which won't bleed jobs overseas). The last twenty-six years of economic policy have been geared towards keeping working families in fear of job losses in order to depress wages and keep the cost of labor fairly constant. (This is a major issue to the big donors of the conservative candidates.) Unfortunately, Bill Clinton did little to address the previous two administrations' attacks upon workers, and I hold out little hope that Hillary would radically alter the policies that she would inherit.
All the economic figures show that this nation is in immediate and serious danger of a severe economic downturn: savings rates are negative since the first time since the Great Depression. Due to falling house prices, less equity is available to borrow against in order to keep paying the bills or refinance high-interest debt. The number one cause of bankruptcy is medical debts, and prices of medical insurance and treatment continue to out-pace inflation by leaps and bounds... which means the percentage of bankruptcies caused by medical bills will continue to rise.
What we need in the White House is a new Franklin Roosevelt: someone who understands that prosperity works from the ground up, not the top-down. We need to repeal the anti-labor laws like the Taft-Hartley Act. We also need to finally fix medicine in this country by passing a Single Payer law, which creates a single national health insurance program, but leaves doctors, hospitals, etc. privately owned and competitive. We need to start enforcing the Sherman Act and break up the conglomerated media empires that control what everyone gets to see and hear, and feeds us trash for "news".
Lastly, and most importantly, we need to use public funding for elections: if you get enough signatures to get on the ballot, you get X dollars to spend on your campaign. You can't use your own, and you can't have PACs, unions, 527s, etc. running commercials to influence voters. We must break the grip that Big Money has on our democracy.
Now, if Hillary will get on the bus and do all the above, I'd vote for her.

if you think hillary will do a great job, you need to listen to her background and history. Her voting record is inconsistant, she votes based on what she thinks the majority will vote for and not voting based on her principals or the people she represents.
She has a background that might be questionable in terms of whitewater, her husband's behavoir and why she didn't have the strength to kick him out, etc.
There are much stronger democratic candidates out there than her. On the women's side why not consider the current secretary of state as an option too?

Neither. Republicans are liars and hypocrites that could care less about middle class and poor people and Liberals don't have a sense of right and wrong and have morally corrupted our country.
And both parties are racist, but Dems moreso than Repubs.
And the guy above me is right- vote for Hilary if you agree with her views- not because of the gimmick of her being a woman.

Republican, but I would vote for a Democrat if I thought they were better for the job. I would not vote for Hilary, I don't believe in her. I would not vote for John Kerry if he runs again. He is a hypocrite that would make a disaster out of our country.

I am typically of the Republican mindset. I advocate self responsibilty and limited government. If you are choosing to vote for Hillary just because she's a woman, don't. If you are choosing to vote for because she is the candidate that mirrors your beliefs the closest. It is entirely to early to be saying who I'd vote for. Got a lot of reading to do and need to see a few debates before I throw my hat in for one candidate.

If all you know is that you want to vote for her because she is a woman, please be responsible and don't vote.
find out what you are really voting for before you vote.
No, we don't need a woman president. We need someone who can do the job regardless of race color or creed...
I am a republican.

Neither. Independent. There are democrats and republicans I could vote for. However, it would take a heap of convincing for me to vote for Hillary. Also, please don't vote for someone just because they are a woman. Vote for the persons ideas and abilities but not their gender.
